Soon we are going to start a large project at school were we are to create a animated short in groups or individual. This is my current assignment. Create atleast 2 stories and "sell" them. After some thinking, discussing ideas with Remi and Andreas. Ive decided to recreate two ideas i had before. So here they go along with some images and links to what look i want on the film

This is a story about a lonely, talented man. The character design is something like a middle aged, cartoonish man. I want to create a nice, semi-realistic enviorment with a cartoonlike character. But they should blend well together. Like in some of these referance images.

This idea is a fast phased comedy animation, with a wierd cartoon style. I want the design to be unatural forms. With alot of colour. The first image and the youtube link is how i want the design to look like, but with a mix of image number 2. This is about a middleaged man. He ran out of coffee and struggles to stay awake at the breakfast table. And wierd, twisted and funny things happends to him. Read trough and make your mind about it :)
